From 14 - 18 September, 2009.

The biggest swamp of Cuba and the most important reservoire of Cuban flora and fauna are located in Zapata National Park. Treasure Lagoon and La Boca's crocodile breed, the biggest in Latinamerica are also in this Park.

Biosphere Reservoire, Zapata's Peninsula has vertical caves at its shores as well as the famous Playa Larga and Playa Girón.

Zapata National Park is an amazing environment of genuine nature for ecotourism lovers.

Cuba will celebrate from September 14 - 18, this year, Turnat 2009, a Nature Tourism Event. Touroperators, travel agencies, press and tourists from all over the world will be gathering on this occasion at Zapata's Swamp, a very special location, for this ecological event.

Zapata Península is at the South of Matanzas province and its one of the most important ecological system in Cuba.
