Tourist Caravan Authentic Cuba is in Mexico promoting new product and destinations
Mexico June 2010 Mexico will welcome the journey of the tourist caravan "Authentic Cuba", name of the new advertising campaign which the Caribbean island has already shown up in faithful markets to its holiday's product, as the European, and in others that begin to know and to enjoy its offers, as the South American. Organised by the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba, together with its office in Mexico, the promotional event will extend until June 19 and will include the states of Monterrey, Guadalajara and the Federal District. In this action, conceived as part of the communication strategy to support the commercialization of the Caribbean destination in markets that already know it, and in other potential ones, Mexico is in fact seen as an "old one well-known", which Cuba has declared as invited country of honor to the International Fair of Tourism of Havana FIT Cuba 2011. And of course, also in this country the delegation that will make the caravan is integrated by the main actors of the Cuban tourist chore, it is to say Cubanacan, Gran Caribe, Islazul, Cubatur and the Managerial Group Palacio de Convenciones of Havana that will be accompanied by representatives of international hotel companies as Sol Melia, Iberostar, Blau, Barcelo and Sandals. Among their fundamental purposes, this promotional action aspires to achieve a narrower connection with Mexican holidaymakers, creating and reinforcing relationships with the agencies and tour operators that move them. The current program alternates samples of painting, photographs, craft, music, dances and genuinely Cuban gastronomy, with exchanges, negotiations and presentations directed fundamentally to the demanded holiday's modalities by the Mexican market. For this year the Cuba expects the arrival of about 75 thousand Mexican visitors, against 59 thousand received in 2009. Caribbean News Digital |
