Cuban Professionals to Work in Tourism Sector

In that regard, 48 experts on tourism graduated from the University of Havana in the 2010 school year, so 149 students have graduated in that specialty from that educational institution. At the Faculty of Tourism, students major in Growth and Development, Destinations and Production, Information to Travelers and Study Management, among other specialties. Cuba receives more than two million foreign tourists every year and offers 50,000 rooms in 300 hotels. Growth plans include the construction of more hotels, thus the need to have a highly-qualified staff.
