Santiago de Cuba among destinations chosen by cruise ships visiting the Caribbean Island Monday, March 07, 2011 Havana.- Eastern Santiago de Cuba province is among the destinations chosen by cruise ships visiting the Caribbean island. This month, 368 British senior citizens arrived in the city of Santiago de Cuba on the cruise ship Saga Pearl II. The travelers toured the city's Historic Heart, where they visited Céspedes Park, Casa de la Trova Pepe Sánchez, the Cathedral and the Museum of Cuban Historic Environment. They also visited the Baconao Park, which has hotels, beaches, restaurants and an aquarium, among other facilities. During their stopover in Santiago de Cuba, the passengers from the Saga Pearl II were attended to by the travel agency CUBATUR and the transportation company TRANSTUR. |
