New Air Route between Cuba and Europe will be ready through KLM company Monday, March 07, 2011 Havana.- The airline KLM will open an air route between Europe and Cuba during the next winter season. Company executives pointed out that the airline will fly three times a week from Schiphol, Amsterdam, to the José Martà International Airport in Havana, starting in October. They said the route will be covered by a 285-seat MD11 plane, including 24 seats in World Business Class and 261 seats in Economy Class. The experts added that Cuba will become the airline's 68th intercontinental destination, allowing Dutch and European tourists to have better access to the Caribbean island nation. |
